Motivated by the teachings of Jesus, Tangible Hope Ministries endeavors to show unconditional love to people overlooked by society, to inspire hope, dignity, and a path to restoration with family and community.

History
Tangible Hope Ministries is a 501c3 domestic non profit organization. While we filed in 2024, the history goes back to 2016.
August 2016
Cards for Prisoners started, registered a PO Box, and started sending cards from home.
September 2016
- Filed as a 501c3 as Tangible Hope Enterprises (dba Cards for Prisoners) 09/28/2016
- Pen Pal Palooza starts in a living room, sending out Christmas cards to the incarcerated.
2017
- First edition of cardsforprisoners.org website (web archive)
- Began working with Healing Communities West Michigan
2019
- Healing Communities merges with 70×7
2020
- Cards for Prisoners merges with 70×7 10/8/2020
- Tim Koning has Paula produce the CFP video. Provides a new database.
- Going into churches every week and it explodes!
- Restorative Hope Churches
- Pen Pal Palooza takes off
2024
- Cards for Prisoners director and program removed from 70×7 10/31
- Tangible Hope Ministries Filed for 501c3
- 8th Annual Pen Pal Palooza has a record number of volunteers and 1,731 cards sent in just five hours (link)
